Land

This is how the LarpCraft system defines lands in the system. LarpCraft lands are broken down into 3 different categories: Continents, Colonies and Realms. Below is a definition of each: Continents - Land mass roughly related to the actual geographical continent a realm or colony would be on. Each continent will have a story that the realms and colonies must include in their biography. Only LarpCraft Overlords have the power to add continents but they will consult with realm Elders before doing so (as it is likely that the realms will have to help come up with the stories). Once we have enough realms and colonies in each continent, it will be possible to set up multi-colonial games. These would be the largest games in LarpCraft with thousands of players. Colonies - These are protected areas in a network of realms. It takes at least 3 realms to apply for a Colony. Colonies are designed to bridge local realms where it would be possible to attend each others games monthly or semi-monthly. Colonies must connect to their continent stories as well as have some story history relationship with each realm in a colony. Realms in a colony work together to build a strong lore, network of games, and friendships. Realms in a colony are not allowed to host games on the same day (to encourage higher turnouts from all realms in the area). LarpCraft prefers no more than 5 realms occupy a colony. This way multi-colony games can be set up a few times a year (if possible). Colonies will get their own chat and scroll areas. The Elder leaders of realms will have a private area in the scrolls to coordinate games, quests, stories and more with each other. Realms - The most common form of area in LarpCraft. Realms are the actual plot of land players play on. In a realm you may have kingdoms, villages, factions, guilds and pretty much everything else. Realms are not allowed to be called a Kingdom since they are bigger than that (and kingdoms rise and fall). Realms need a story that connects with their colonies and or continents. If a new realm is joining a colony, it will need to be part of the colony story as well. Realms can be started by filling out a new realm request form on LarpCraft. Each realm needs at least 1 Elder on site per 15 players in a game. Land areas are not allowed to have profiles, they have scrolls and chat areas. It is advised that you list your location with your realm, colony and continent in it. So say for example if Blaz Delmonte is on the continent of Fuloria within the colony of Yukam and the realm of Knightingdale the location on Blaz’s profile would read Blaz Delmonte of knightingdale - Colony of Yukam in Fuloria (something along those lines).

Risk Management

Questions pertaining to the realm and safety of the players. If a realm has too many risk management issues, it will be denied as a playable area.
